SIAMS – Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools

Church Schools make up a highly diverse ‘family’ of institutions across nursery, primary and secondary phases. The SIAMS Framework seeks to evaluate the impact that these church schools have on all their learners.

There are four core questions inspectors seek answers to. These are:

1. How well does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meet the needs of all learners?
2. What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?
3. How effective is religious education?
4. How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school?
